Member Testimonials

I wanted to take a few moments to express how grateful I am to have the opportunity to be a part of ARCH. It was 9 years ago that another mom invited me to a few ARCH events, and I still attribute the fact that I started homeschooling to her and her introduction of ARCH. Homeschooling can be such a daunting concept especially if you grew up in an area where it was extremely rare. Meeting the amazing families in ARCH gave me the confidence that I needed to get started. Over the years, these same families have helped me in so many areas from testing to which math they use. Every year there are a few new faces, which keeps it a dynamic group. Families are from so many different backgrounds but all have similar goals for their children. My children and I can say that our closest and dearest friends are from this group. Having over one hundred moms and dads available to throw out a question over an online forum is priceless. They help keep me focused on the big picture, especially when I might be tempted to “throw in the towel.” God has blessed us, and I am forever grateful to be a part of this “family.” -Ann

ARCH is a true community ... whether fellowship in nature walks, swapping books, providing meals, meeting for field trips, posting ideas or educational opportunities /extracurricular activities — a community of sharing and caring .. cliche but true!!! ... and prayer anytime! - Donetta

Knowing the value of homeschool support groups, I found ARCH as soon as we moved to this area. ARCH families share the common goal of Catholic education within the vocation of marriage. Besides education, friendships develop as common ground is shared in all areas of life. As friends and community, we pray together and support each other in many ways. ARCH has been an abundant blessing in our homeschool! -Ginny
